I've been in better moods. There's no definable reason for my shitty mood, but I'm probably just sick of having no one around already.

On the upside, I've been making loads of money at Millbury House ($70 in tips on a Tuesday night is unheard of) and the guy at the Shrewsbury Newbury Comics said that the one at Solomon Pond Mall is almost always hiring, so he gave me an application to submit to them.

Can money buy happiness?

If I were truly unhappy I'd be willing to experiment, but i'm not; I'm just in a shitty mood. On top of that, despite the rather large amount of money I've been making, it's all money that I need to be banking. Thus, I don't really have any disposable income with which to buy happiness, were I unhappy.

Well at least Mic will be around tomorrow night. It'll be nice to go to the mall with a person other than myself, and a pretty fun one on top of that.

    <lj:music>Back Sabbath - Black Sabbath</lj:music>

I think I'm going to start documenting my life now that everyone's at school and I'm all by my lonesome, which will--needless to say--make for an interesting journal. ..We'll see for how long this lasts.

I'm currently listening to "Black Sabbath" by Black Sabbath, and it pretty much sums up how I feel at the moment. I'm not talking so much about the lyrics, but rather the tone of the composition as a whole: Unsettling. Fearful. Restless. Foreboding. Gotta love those tritones. Speaking of music, I have some beats that are ready and set to be rapped over, but every time I try to record, I think I sound terrible. Maybe Matt will make it work. Maybe I should stick with producing and give up rapping? I don't think it matters enough to quit. I've also been writing guitar music, but it's a lot more difficult for me to write lyrics for that kind of stuff as opposed to hip hop. I wrote a really cool, kind of heavy song in 3/4 time. But I'm not a good singer, so it'll probably never be completed, like most (maybe 95%?) of the songs I begin to write.

Now for a paragraph more of you will be interested to read, probably. I started to look for jobs today. Since I can't get 35-40 hours at Millbury House, I have to find another part time job. Neither the FYE in Millbury or Auburn are hiring, and neither is Barnes & Noble. I'm going to try Newbury Comics in Shrewsbury tomorrow, and the Newbury Comics at the Solomon Pond Mall on Thursday (Friday?) when I go there with Mic. If that fails, I might have to try applying to PacSun or American Eagle or some place like that. I do not want to work at a clothes store, but I might have to. Bummer.

There's not much else to say. I have a new myspace stalker and the Gnarles Barkley CD (the one with "Crazy") is much better than I had expected it to be.

I want some weed.

So, I watched the Nicholas Cage movie "The Wicker Man" today at work. It was probably the most unintentionally funny movie ever, and thankfully, the best scenes have been captured and uploaded to youtube, along with fake trailers.
